TOT Day 3

Today we woke up and jumped on the bus and headed to Dove Lake (part of the Cradle Mt. National Park). When we got there we jumped off the bus and had a look around but then we had to get back on to drive to the Lake. When we got there it was so pretty and amazing and we had really good weather for it. The walk took 2 hours and when we were finished we jumped on the bus and headed to Tazmazia.

When we got to Tazmazia, we got our stamp and walked into the maze. The maze was awesome it was also very big and green. Some of the things in the maze were the 3 Bears Cottage and Cubby Town. Cubby Town had lots of different cubby houses like a Church and a Supermarket. We got fish and chips for dinner, had an awesome game of anything goes netball and stayed in Camp Banksia. (Mr. Fab is one of the most unfair umpires we have ever seen). We all thought it was really cool =D

Day two photos

Tuesday- Tour Of Tassie..

We woke up at St Josephs school this morning. We packed, opened Demi's Birthday presents and got ready to go to Dougies mine tour. We had a walk around the town and met John (Tour Guide) At a railway station and then got in the bus and drove to the mines. The first thing we saw at the mines was a river that was orange from all the copper. We drove up the mountains and saw that the mine was so much bigger than we could see from the road. We went up to the top of the mine and saw the whole view and threw rocks off the edge.

After a long drive we arrived and set up at Zeehan caravan park. After lunch we went to the Zeehan Museum. The museum had lots of different things, mainly based on the history of mining, and trains. From there we went to Strahan and the first stop was the Choo Chew Lolly Shop. Everyone has had way too much sugar (Mr Fab wrote this!!).  We went across the road and did some gift shopping at the Gordon River Cruises shop.

"The ship that never was" was next. The play was brilliant. It went through some history of the ship The Frederick, and the actors picked out a lot of Sacred Heart Students to be in the play.

We are now back at the Caravan Park and having a disco celebrating Demi's Birthday. It's been another great day. Pictures coming, downloads taking too long - we want to party!!! Dynamite
TOT Day 1 - we're off and away on the Tour of Tassie. Our first stop was a park in New Norfolk where we did some synchronized swinging. We had our morning tea and a play.

We then made our way to Tarraleah and saw the huge water pipes. We also were lucky enough to catch up with Father Graham who was just passing by.

The next stop was the amazing Wall in the wilderness which was a 340ft long carving out of mostly huon pine. It was very detailed and very cool!! The wall wasn't the only carving. There were also carvings of gloves, rope, hats which also looked really life like - cool again. Lake St. Claire visitor centre had a lot of information and a gift store where we started spending our money. Liam bought a pair of cool sunnies, we also saw a wallaby.

Nelson Falls was our next stop. Sean slipped for the second time - not so cool for Sean, first visit to a nurse. The water was gushing down the hill and looked astonishing.

We finally got to St. Joseph's Queenstown and set up. We had a bit of a play in their gym and then went down for a magnificent and yummy dinner (we had apple crumble dessert YUM and chocolate cake). After a while (well quite a while - so Mr Fab said) it was bed time. We all had a very restful peaceful sleep on gym mats - after the sleep we all decided never to sleep on gym mats again.
